FATAL BEAUTY (ready stock)
SINOPSIS :
As a mystery, Fatal Beauty includes a nice twist reveal and
is actually pretty good. As a ghost story, it is lame as heck. The biggest
complaint I have is the Chinese folklore spin that the movie tagline uses. The
folklore has almost nothing to do with the story, and seems to be awkwardly
incorporated. It would have been better to leave it out. Also, the movie title
makes no sense and has no relevance to the story. Seems like someone thought it
would be a good title for American audiences. I found it amusing that the lead
actress spent a lot of time in either short white throughout this entire movie.
No matter what time of day, she was pretty much in the same white dress, which
looked like an sleeping gown. I guess it saved on wardrobe costs.
